Ven's News reached 100,000 visits today at 5:37 PM EST. The 100,000th visitor was Xyzzy (fast on the ol' mouse button eh?)
New server is in.. Still doing a lot of testing. I have some photos of it which I'll show in a few weeks. I might move the server over for a day and see how it performs, so if the news is broke... You know why.
In other news, the NEW Lords of Acid merchandise is going fast.
I was reminded by the group today that the shirts are exclusive and are in limited quantities.

For those who didn't get a chance to visit the TWEC Online Chat with the Lords of Acid
last month or for those who did attend but were too high to remember...
You can read the transcripts here, Thank you Eric.
The ISP who runs this server and it's network services,
are going to be doing some upgrades to the main DNS server and Mail Server.
So if you can't get to the site tomorrow night between midnight and 3 AM EST,
this is why. The changing of the mail server might cause problems with the mail.
I have NOT had time lately to research any stores online that are carrying the 3 albums below. I hope to find out some more info. If you find a place selling all 3 let me know. Ven @ VensNews.com

Batch 1 of the Penthouses are scheduled to arrive Thursday and oddly enough,
the second batch is scheduled for Friday.
The shipping boxes should be here Wednesday or Thursday, and some other promo type materials should arrive Thursday.
I will most likely ship out all orders on Friday.

Hans X (bass player Lords of Acid/Praga Khan) broke his Achilles Tendon.
This happened during the first song of
the Lords of Acid concert last friday in Brussels, Belgium.
He will be in hospital for at least ten days and it

I'll try to locate a reputable company to order these from. Frontstage is taking orders for the I Sit On Acid CD Single. But I would advise against this. Amazon.co.uk might be a better choice, But I do not see order information for it yet.
It should be clarified that the limited edition version of "farstucker" with
the bonus track, "Venus" (available only at TWEC locations), encompasses the
following TWEC stores: Camelot, Coconuts, The Wall, Strawberries, Record
Town, Waxie Maxie's, FYE, Spec's, Disc Jockey, Planet Music.

Today I received my business license. As soon as this server arrives, I'll arrange for a SSL Certificate and a credit card virtual terminal and see about opening up some kind of shop with merchandise.
I've cleaned out all the mailing lists, I'm sorry for the people I confused.
What I meant was, I was sending out messages to what emails came back as being invalid.
But all is fixed now.
The Lords of Acid Mailing List is back up and functioning.
The NEW Lords of Acid server seems to be functioning well..
I've installed a new guestbook script, only took 4 hours of hacking the source code to get it to function the way we needed it too :) Check it out here
Removed the links to TWEC and BestBuy. No use having links for a limited edition cd if they aren't shipping them.
Donations are still rolling in and are helping a lot. One fan came up with a nifty idea. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can always sign up for one and in doin' so I get $5.00 for the referral. So, you can use this link to sign up if you want. Thanks again.

Seems that Sun Microsystems has been hit with some sort of blizzard, phone lines are either down, busy or I get a recording. No idea where the server is. Everything else is here.
*Update* Managed to get through, as predicted, They looked up the wrong order when I called last time. The server DID NOT ship. One person said he estimates they will ship in the middle of the month, another person stated it could take almost 2 months. So now I'm in a jam cause I bought 1 gig of ram and a hard drive specifially for that machine. So looks like I'll have to return it all. GRUMBLE!
Praga Khan's Discography is updated. Additions are Love on Vinyl and Love on CD. These can be ordered on
Vinyl and
CD.
LordsofAcid.com has been moved to a new server. So far all seems smoooth with the transition. Lords of Acid Discography is updated. The additions are farstucker, Lover Boy/Lover Girl (Vinyl) and
Lover Boy/Lover Girl (CD). Lyrics are up for the albums. I did not add lyrics for 'Venus' or 'Get Up And Jam!' cause I do not have the CDs yet. IF you have trouble accessing the site, be patient, it takes a little time for the DNS changes to take affect.
Transworld ships via many warehouses, some of the warehouses did not have the limited edition release. Transworld will be correcting the problem. You can always contact customer service about this, I am sure the phone number is on the receipt that came with the order. (haven't gotten mine yet, sorry). There WILL be more on this in the future.
I've been asked many times a day since I announced news of the Lords of Acid Heaven is Coming Tour Video. I haven't received any news on it since I initially posted the news. When I find out I'll let you know here.
I have strongly considered doing something like PBS does, when you donate so much money you get a gift for the donation. Though I don't know what is a good way to handle this. But I have tons of Postcards and stickers.
I've switched over to using PayPal cause the other company was charging me 9% to use their service.

BEST BUY: Best Buy is completely sold out of the Limited Edition farstucker ONLINE. This Link will take you to the standard edition. Feel free to checkout your local Best Buy (If you have one).
Transworld/TWEC.com: Many people are reporting their cd did not have 'Venus' on it.
Perhaps they were shipped a normal edition, or as a few fans have pointed out, The track is not listed on the CD/Case but it if you play Track 20, it is there.
Reports vary from person to person. My shipment has not arrived so I don't know. Management states that the Limited Edition CDs have a sticker on the front noting this.
The server has shipped. I wasn't expecting it to ship so soon :( It should arrive tomorrow.
Ordered everything else today.. Grand total of this project is $1972.15 .
