Update: Grandmother is out of a coma. Things came up and I won't be going home. Whee
General announcement. I know there has been a lot going on lately with the Children of Acid and the party and finances etc.
I was contacted tonight by my family.
It seems my grandmother is in the hospital again and is in a coma.
We thought she was winning her fight with cancer, but as with life it can pull a 360 on you in a snap.
So for now the general plan is, I am going home on Sunday or Monday and will be gone for the week or 2 or 3 or 4.
I will be updating the site and stuff from home (if I still have my internet account back home).
I ask you try not to email unless you have too.
Merchandise ordered this week coming up will not be shipped out till I get home.
Hopefully if things go well within the next 48 hours the Children of Acid site will be saved and all will be good again.
FedEx will be coming today around 3 PM to collect the orders for this week,

Lordsofacid.com was down for an hour today for some upgrades, they went well..
As I also discovered about 45 minutes ago (9:00 PM), a nearby building next to the colocation caught on fire and caused a power surge to the colocation building. The surged caused the UPS backup to blow and not function. The facility is currently running on a backup generator. So if the site doesn't respond anytime within the next 6 hours, you know why.
In the past I have expressed the need to collect donations etc to keep the Children of Acid site alive.
I also noted in the past that I had put up a link/button/blurb asking for donations and had 0 in 4 days.
The comments I got from that were basically 'I didn't see it' (dispite it was at the top of the website, on every page).
I have recoded the site for a few days. People should be able to see 'it' now.
Met with FedEx. Was very cool. Got the rundown on everything, got all the supplies needed etc. We are now shipping daily.

Praga Khan's Lonely is now used in the new Intel Pentium 4 commercial.
Lords of Acid is featured in a magazine called 'Demonia' (issue #44).
Haven't bought it, kinda expensive. Thanks Drac

Hans-X has left the Praga Khan live band. Claudia Vanderboomen will be taking over the position. She plays bass for a group called 'Pure Polly_Esther'.

White CoA Shirts and Black Camisoles have been shipped 2nd day air from the printers, so they should be here Thursday. Since the party is this weekend, I will ship merchandise out Friday, or Monday at the latest. Remember all orders are now shipped via FedEx, so people in the US must give a physical address. No PO Boxes, No Rural Routes and No Abbreviations. This means instead of 6688 Main St. you have to make it 6688 Main Street, Simple huh?
PragaKhan.com was down for awhile today. We moved the site over to a dual 2ghz processor machine. So you should notice a speed increase. Never saw programs compile so fast in my life.
So with the party, I will be busy planning the last minute details. Emails will be slow with responses etc.

Well I did it! This means I actually remembered. Maybe my brain isn't so screwed up afterall.
To the left is a thumbnail of SOME of the stuff we are giving away at the party. Believe me, this is not all of it!
There are still many things that would of took up most of the room.
This will definitely be a happening event.
I want to thank all the fans for helping out and I want to thank The Lords of Acid, Praga Khan, Never Records (Hi Sherwood) and DJ Bob for making this all possible.
Wonder how big the party will be next year.
I am crossing my fingers about the White CoA Shirts. They have 1 week to get here.. Maybe they will :)

Woo woo next weekend is the Party. Just reminding people that ya have to be 18 to get into the club and must be 21 to get alcohol. I got about 30 cds in from the record company and also a stack of vinyl. Praga has sent some autographed postcards and some limited edition Freakazoidz condoms. There is some other stuff too. I will SOOOO try to take a photo of it all within the next 2 days.
We have all the shipping supplies in now (see left). I'm just messing with this FedEx stuff, not bad.
White Children of Acid Shirts are orderable now. I am hoping they arrive before the party *cross fingers*

Gallery has some new photos.
I finally sat down and automated the graphing of the Children of Acid stats. Gotta love 'gd' .
I've ordered all the shipping supplies to switch over to FedEx, they were shipped today. So we'll be moving over to FedEx soon.
I've gone ahead and ordered some white Children of Acid shirts. I've also reordered the Camisoles which sold out like wildfire.
I've also setup a private Children of Acid Mailing List. This list is specifically for people who want to volunteer their time to do something things to help out. Things like, look for websites online to order supplies and merch, promote the website or do some form of research for the site. If interested please email me at Ven @ VensNews.com
I've been asked about being able to get shirts at the Party. I would love to sell them at the club, but that is in poor taste. Most likely I will have some with me at the hotel and people can buy them there. 2 weeks to go! If you want something and want to save on shipping, give me a heads up and I will bring some stuff with me.
