The people at Cover Magazine are on vacation, as they have appeared to be for weeks now see here. I am going to try tonight.. Most likely they will be back from vacation on August 5th.
Over the next few weeks I should have various updates.
A t-shirt proof should arrive tomorrow and if it's okay, we'll have more Children of Acid shirts in stock.
I have taken a break from converting the old news over. It has consumed a lot of time and right now I do not have a lot of time.

LordsofAcid.com was down off and on today due to some sort of explosion in
New York (on 14th Street) which caused a spike to the colocation facility. This event has caused the system to go down 2 times.
I hope it won't happen anymore and the Network Operations Center doesn't anticipate anymore outages.

I mentioned some time ago that I had found old copies of Ven's News from dates to 1998.
I think I also mentioned before that it was really hard to convert them cause 99% of the links were outdated.
Well I started converting them and hopefully within the next 2 weeks I can make them public.
I also didn't realize that back in 1998/1999 that I literally updated the news everyday.
So whereas now you have maybe 8 news editions on a page, back then there are 30+ (1+ editions per day).
Some of them have been easy, but some of them are difficult.
Took me over 45 minutes to one months worth of entries.
I also find it kinda interesting cause most of these entries cover the whole Children of Acid era back when it was born and all kinds of stuff.
I can't help but laugh at most of the entries. Back then I also had "Edition Names" for each day.. Funny stuff.
I am however missing the following months/years, so if anyone has copies (doubtful) let me know.

Children of Acid Site has a new look. Thanks to GroggleFroth for helping me with the crash course in functions and optimization. Site can be changed instantly now by editing one data file, impressive.
Cover Magazine is available for advanced order. I've also combo'd it with the Penthouse for those who want to get both at the same time. I seriously have no idea how long it will take them to get to this country.
Glassware is now available in sets as well. Coffee Mugs in sets of 4, Beer Mugs in sets of 2 and Shot Glasses in sets of 6.

For any of those who watch Disney's 'Pepper Ann', I was informed tonight that if you watch the one episode (not sure which one), you can see lyrics to Praga Khan's 'Love' on the refrigerator door with those letter magnets.
'CDRom Atom Bomb, Microships Floppy Discs'. If anyone has a screen capture, name of episode, next playtime etc, Send the info my way. I have a tv capture card, just need to know specifics. Ven @ VensNews.com
Also looking for copies of the Intel commercial with Lonely in mpeg format.

Free Your Body is showing up at CDNOW as a release. Seems it was released July 1st.. on cd and it's $17.98.. Not sure what is it exactly.

'No Earthly Connection' will be the first single from the Freakazoidz album. It was released last week in the Europe.
The second single will be 'Tausend Sterne" and will be released on August 19th. More to come on these.
I am told that in October Lords of Acid we will release a "Best
of Lords of Acid album". This album will have most of
the singles released over the years but it will also
have two new songs, including the new upcoming single 'Gimme
Gimme'. There will be a video for this single as well.
The video will be shot over the next three weeks.
There are NO concerts scheduled at this point in
Europe or in the USA.
This summer Praga Khan will play two
more festivals August 10th at the "zomerparkfeesten"
in "Venlo" (Holland) and August 24th at Pukkelpop in
Hasselt Belgium. This concert will have other groups like Korn, Jane's Addiction, Guns n'
Roses and more.

A European Praga Khan fanclub will try to reach
the European Praga Khan fans. The club isn't in competition with the Children of Acid site. Still no word on it's standing as a Lords of Acid fan club.
