Chicago Gig has been moved from the Riviera to The Vic Theater (Riviera Tickets Will Be Honored). Thanks Matthew

And the Dallas Gig is at the Deep Ellum Live, Thanks Baktu

If you have a question about a gig (tickets or location or whatever), call the venue and ask. Noone would know better about a gig being at their club then the club itself. Plus in most cases it's a local call for you, whereas it's long distance for me. If you want to send me info you find out, it's appreciated. Ven @ PragaKhan.com

You can also try TicketMaster or TicketWeb for information as well.

Soggy Toes - July 24th, 2000
Well shit if the flooding from the other day wasn't bad enough, in 5 hours I've pumped over 300 gallons of water out of the VenPad.

Today's Motto/Statement:
Go Fuck Yourself
Handy for all situations... 'nuff said.

If you are having trouble getting tickets for shows and can't find them at TicketMaster or TicketWeb, CALL THE VENUE. I believe venue would have information on the show seeing how it's going to be there. They should be able to sell you tickets or provide info for obtaining them (totally new concept).

Too Many Updates - July 20th, 2000
There was a city wide power outage last night. no one had power. To top it off, my apartment became flooded with 40 gallons of water. Then to make it just a little bit more exciting, I had to restore the Lords of Acid Mailing List, which was lost when the power went out. Just to make the night just perfect before going to bed, I had handled jalapenos and forgot about it and touched my eye *EEKS* (Do NOT Try This At Home)

These are the working song titles for the upcoming Lords of Acid album Farstucker
Doggy Style
The Stripper
High High High
Guru Guru
Slave Of Love
Vampire's Kiss
Lover Boy
Sexbomb
Hungry Soul

I did not say these are the only tracks on the album though they could be :)

Praga said he feels that this is "The best Lords of Acid cd ever, that's for sure".

My Mind Is My Enemy - July 19th, 2000
TicketMaster
As seen above Washington DC is August 13th. You can click the above link to prove it to yourself. Though I am really curious how TicketMaster will handle the fact that they've sold a bunch of tickets with the wrong date printed on them.

Well in anycase the mystery is solved.

Now if you can just tell all your friends about this, that would be great.

I Must Be Stoned - July 18th, 2000
Okay so much is going on, my mailbox is now hitting the 1500 emails a day mark which is getting highly unproductive.

Called the booking company. They state Lords of Acid to play DC on the 13th. And claim Misfits are being rescheduled.
Though 9:30 Club claims Lords of Acid on August 14th and the Misfits on the 13th (See Here.
Ticketmaster claims the 14th for Lords of Acid in DC.
Though I find it interesting Ticketmaster has Lords of Acid listed as playing at Cleveland, OH on the 14th and also Lords of Acid playing in DC on the 14th. Example 1 Example 2

According to an unnamed source. The booking company is correct and the 9:30 Club should be aware of this now...

Still is very confusing. I will give things a few days to straighten out before going in on this further.

You can be your own judge. I highly recommend waiting a week to see how things pan out. I mean it is almost a WHOLE month till the show. There are the normal kinks that happen when planning these things.

Though I can't help but wonder.. Ticketmaster has now sold tickets for a show that people think is the 14th. For those who don't visit here or the other websites I can only wonder what will happen IF the Lords do play the 13th and the tickets are printed with August 14th info.... *boggle*

Flamin' Hot Update - July 13th/14th, 2000
Here is an updated list of shows. These are not all the dates. See Below for more. As with everything, These are confirmed but I am sure things could still change.

Tour will have Praga Khan, Lords of Acid and DJ Assualt (whom I do not know or know of).

Try TicketMaster or TicketWeb for tickets.
The August 13th Date IS correct. There is a error on TicketMaster's Part. Hopefully they will correct it within the next 24 hours

Spicy Update - July 11th, 2000
21st Century Skin - Austrian Release (Formerly refered to as 'Visions and Imaginations' has been added to Praga Khan's discography. This CD was mentioned before a long time ago and was refered to as 'Visions and Imaginations' but was actually 21st Century Skin (Austrian Release) [2 CDs].

With all the problems with Frontstage that I keep hearing (MORE than I have heard from CDNOW. All CDNOW links on this site function again. Still waiting for feedback on some other sources. Amazon.Co.Uk recommended for Imports. Amazon.com for non-import titles. SecondSpin for USED cds and movies.

This Link will take you to the Praga Khan listings at CDNOW. They have the Limited Edition Mutant Funk and a bunch of others.

Mild Update - July 9th, 2000
Forgot to put these 2 interviews online.
Interview 1
Interview 2

I guess to extend more on what I said the other day (July 7th). I don't know what is going on with MDFMK. I also do not know what the band lineup is for this tour, and I don't know the Lords of Acid setlist. Literally the information listed below is ALL I have (Tourdates and Praga Khan Setlist). I believe this list is incomplete and hopefully there will be more changes (hence the 'Dates Are Subject To Change' statement).

July 7th, 2000
Lots of Actual Important news...

Praga Khan is working on the new LOA album "Farstucker". So far there are 4 new songs ready. The working titles are : Lover Boy, Sexbomb, A Vampire's Kiss and Doggy Style. The working release date is between September and October (2000). The goal is to have the album ready before the US Tour.

So I guess the next line of business is the tour dates.

Now , before we get into this and my mailbox gets flooded and my home phone starts ringing. These are what I received in my mailbox. They are NOT set it stone, THEY ARE subject to change at anytime. I do not have any other information other than what is listed. If you email me asking me about these, your email will be ingored, cause I cannot provide any further information than what is listed. I recommend bookmarking this site and checking back often OR joining the Tour News Mailing List.

Praga Khan's latest album "Mutant Funk" is scheduled for release in the US in September. No specific date yet.

Deb's Guestbook is online, if you want to tell her hello or something :)

Nikkie's site should be finished by Wednesday (sorry), last minute changes to the site.

The new Praga Khan site should be finished hopefully by next friday at the latest.

For those who have emailed me and I have no responded, I'm sorry, I'm backlogged with websites and am trying to catchup. Unfortunitally to attempt to catch up I'm now sleeping every 2-3 days.

I have no guestlist for this tour, so there is no need to kiss up to me to get on it. Sorry no more favors for anyone, It's simpler this way.

Will try to have a Ven's News contest before the tour to offer some free tickets to shows. But like I said, I'll try.

There are now 2 copies of the SCREENED Video left at the Praga Khan Online Store. The News has been updated to reflect this.
