Deb Nude?
|
Nude photos of Deb are downloadable.. Of course you must be 18 to view them.
Release date for Freakazoidz in Europe is May 6th, 2002
If you would like to listen to some snippets of Freakazoidz..
I recommend going to www.stubru.be
which is supposed to be playing them :)
Digital Orgasm's Come Dancing has been added to the discography. This CD is old, released prior to 'IT' and has a few variations in tracks compared to 'IT' . There is one song in which I do not have lyrics for, but I am working on it. Thanks to Ken C. for the data.
I will be going home (State College, PA) from roughly May 10th to May 17th.
Hopefully shirts will come in a little early and I can ship them out. But I tell you this now, I will most likely leave the merchandise links up, but clearly state no orders will be shipped during that time. If they come in on the day I leave, I will take them all with me and ship them from PA.
Ka0s where are you man?

As of writing this, there is 1 more XXXLarge shirt left, that is all I have.
Hopefully the next batch is on schedule (will try to find out tomorrow).
Advanced Order Yours Here.
I posted a message to the mailing list the other day. The short version of it is, if you know of something you'd like to have with the Children of Acid logo on it, find a place online where they sell them and have pricing info. I will then investigate it and if it's worthwhile, I will order it. In return for doing the work, I will give you the item free when or if I get them made up. But I need more than 1 place to check out. For reference, it is better if you find a place that can just do full color, where they don't limit the number of colors.

I have no Lords of Acid tour dates (amazing how many times I have to say this a day in email etc..).
Children of Acid Shirts are available for advanced order.
The only sizes in stock right now are XXLarge and XXXLarge. The next batch of shirts are expected to arrive May 9th, 2002. Hopefully I can pump them out in one day (as long as the post office doesn't cop an attitude).
In the 'planning phase' right now are. 1. White Children of Acid Shirts. 2. Children of Acid posters (24 by 36). 3. That Gallery for the site.
Responses to mail will be slow, I have the flu (Bastards who gave it to me! You know who you are... DIE DIE DIE).
Sample of what the shirts look like under a blacklight

No Sleep For 4 Days
|
New Praga Khan Site is up, Enjoy. I will have to go through the archives and 'alter' all the links to the site etc..
US Release for Freakazoidz is May 28th, 2002. For Europe it is May 20th, 2002.
If you would like to order it, click here.
So far this is being noted as Praga's BEST work to date..
Didn't know you could get any better, will have to find out.
Praga Khan is back in the studio working on new Lords of Acid material.
These new songs will be for the next Lords of Acid which is scheduled for late summer.
New 'US' tour dates will be online soon.
That is what I am told. I don't know when, could be 2 days, could be 2 weeks, could be 2 months... hopefully not 2 years though.
Children of Acid Shirts are slowly selling out. I was able to rig up the merch page to interface with PayPal so that when a shirt is ordered the inventory is updated instantly. But like I said they are selling out. The best bet right now is XXLarge and XXXLarge. I hope to order more this week, we will see.

April 20th, 2002
Here are 3 confirmed tour dates for Praga Khan:
May 11th, 2002 Brussels - Ancienne Belgique
June 2nd, 2002 Virus Festival - Eindhoven (Holland)
June 28th, 2002 Werchter Festival - Belgium
None for Lords of Acid and no idea when there will be.
Network is back to working. Eventually everything went offline but eventually was fixed.
Children of Acid shirts are still 'down' from the site till I can finish a actual store system. Inventory has been counted etc. Hope to turn it all back on today.

April 18th, 2002
Update: Severe network problems. Our network is now down to 1 T1 connection.
Things will be slowed till they can all be brought back online.
Shirts have been shipped. There are a few which I did not ship (G. Nguyen, M. Beatrice, E. Campbell, W. Arnett). Some of these have address changes pending, unknown addresses and/or unknown shirt sizes.
People who ordered and orders were shipped, I emailed ya, so check your email. I hope to be able to make an online order status checking script next.. Much to do, so little time. I also think I ran my script 2 times, so people who ordered 1 shirt got 2 emails and those who ordered 2 got 4.. SORRY!
I am taking the store down for the day. Will put it back up soon. Need to do bookwork and inventory etc.

Commentary Part 2
Commentary Part 1 is here
Besides being yelled at constantly about this whole HTML email thing.
I figured I would go off on an informative rant.
A. I hate HTML Email cause I code it all day and night and have been coding it since the early 90's (roughly 1992 I think). I code it, I sure as heck don't want it in my mailbox.
B. Almost 97% of the spam that passes through my mail server IS HTML ENCODED. So if most spam is HTML Encoded, why not delete it in general, saves people from bitching about it.
C. Did you know that JUST BY READING a piece of html encoded email people can find out, what email address you are, what IP, what browser you are using, what OS you are running, and obviously the time and data? Maybe you did, maybe you didn't. Just remember, those NIFTY fancy graphics HAVE to come from somewhere, and there is a machine somewhere on the net keeping track of it.
If you ever get down and look at a piece of spam that is not "parsed" you will see a world of amazing things.
Assuming there is a graphic (visible or not), when you open the email,
the mail program contacts that web server and gets the graphic.
Something like the code below in an email:
<img src="http://www.blah.com/images/invisiblegraphic.gif?email=someone@somewhere.com" border=0 alt="" width=1 height=1>
Translates into the following when you look through the webserver log
mobile.vensnews.com - - [16/Apr/2002:09:37:28 -0400] "GET /images/invisiblegraphic.gif?email=someone@somewhere.com HTTP/1.0" 200 10754 "-" "
Mozilla/4.79 (Macintosh; U; PPC)"
This translates into what?
A. This person is using a machine located at mobile.vensnews.com (my laptop)
B. Time and Date they read the email [16/Apr/2002:09:37:28 -0400]
C. Their email address.... someone@somewhere.com [geee who would of thunk it]
D. Broswser used... Mozilla/4.79 (Netscape 4.79)
E. Computer used... Macintosh; U; PPC (on Windows machines they usually specify Windows 95,98 etc.)
So I guess this little 'rant' is more to educate people and make them understand what is going on. I am sorry the way I am, we all have flaws. I hate spam as much as everyone does. I don't think I've actually met anyone who just LOVES it (maybe extremely lonely people).
But to me it just makes sense. Why read something that basically just tells someone 'Hey this person got your spam, this is their email address, send more to this person since this email address is valid'. I am at a loss. And yes, I am aware I am only one person fighting a war I will never win, but you know, when you get maybe 5 pieces of spam a day, it is sooo enjoyable, though my email account still averages... 1936 emails a day on average.
Now you may actually be thinking about it, or you may be in your chair laughing your butt off at this idiot and what he's trying to say. I personally don't care.
Things you can do. Well I don't want to tell anyone to do, that is up to you.
A. I would start by making it so you don't send html email. That is your choice, Sounds kind of stupid to filter out and delete all html email but at the same time, sending it out yourself. NoHTMLEmail.com is still under construction.
B. If you have your own mail server you can simply delete (/dev/null) the html encoded emails (I'll post instructions in the future).
Otherwise I'd recommend you simply add a filter to scan the headers of all emails and look for.
Content-Type: text/html*
Content-Type: multipart/alternative*
Asterisks are added as wildcards since some programs add nifty encoding codes after the entries. Then have these email deleted.
C. Try to educate your friends. Who knows maybe my commentary is easy to understand, maybe it's not. Maybe you have learned something, if you did, I hope you can pass it on and educate. One person at a time.
There is one regretable drawback to this. People sending legit mail get ignored. But you know, I am sorry. I have posted for a long time now (at least over a year) NOT to send this type of email. I mentioned before Microsoft makes html email standard now. People just would rather see fancy colored text and graphics than plain text (the way it has been since the 60's).
There are more solutions etc (demime, procmail etc), which I can't cover here, but hope to cover at some point on the website. But I just do not have enough time to educate and help etc.

Looks like we are on schedule. Daniel J. Sky and DJBob have both sent out their CDs should be here tomorrow or the day after.
As for the shirts... They flew over my head today. After looking at the tracking status of them, I have no idea what crack UPS is on but like,
they should of just pushed them out of the plane as they flew overhead..
The shirts started out in Colorado, flew over Virginia, and are now in Maine... Go figure.
So semi-weird news. The Children of Acid server is continuing to be hammered with visitors. I spoke to the colocation people and they are willing to allow us to colocate another box just for the Children of Acid (with a few minor restrictions, but nothing too bad).
So I guess the next thing to do is somehow scrape together some funds for a decent machine.
My thinking is that if everyone donated like $.25-$1.00 (but no more than that), we could probably get a decent server.
But this will take a lot of planning etc.
I went ahead and transfered all the leftover 'change' from my other PayPal accounts to my main one,
which means we have about $3.00 now :)
In other shirt news. The shirts haven't even arrived and it looks like I have to order some more,
quantities are limited so if you order a shirt there is a chance it will be sold out.
But my new script should not allow you to order a shirt that is out of stock. Ordering more shirts will not be sooo bad since the screens etc are all made now. For instance at this time, there are only 3 smalls left, 1 medium, 2 large, 3 xlarge, 10 xxlarge and 3 xxxlarge. Considering how many I initally ordered, that is pretty damnn good.

April 14th, 2002
Spoke to Daniel J. Sky and DJBob today. They are going to send more CDs so there are no more worries. But after this shipment is gone, it will be up to them if they'd like to continue to supply freebies.
Children of Acid site should load a little faster now. Did a few mods to the server and managed to increase the web server performance by over 3 times. This was without the Zend Optimizer, but I did install it anyways.

April 13th, 2002
Bonus CDs that we were giving away with the shirts/donations are now out of stock. All orders that came in up to April 13th at 3 AM EST are okay. CDs were also allocated for the people who emailed me about sending in donations. Should more CDs come in, I will update the news etc.
A very good idea came in today for the Children of Acid site. It has been suggested that the Children of Acid site do interviews.
So I have setup a page to allow fans to submit their questions and whom they'd like it to be answered by. Note, that the person being asked has the right to refuse any question and it could take a long time for them to be answered.
As always, keep the ideas coming in (feedback). This suggestion was not only very good, but it only took 20 minutes to setup. This is nice since some of the other stuff being done is taking forever.

April 12th, 2002
Streaming MP3 Server is back in business. However, as I discovered, my entire cubical has been moved behind a firewall so noone can access any of my machines. This explains a lot of things.
Okay, I got all the packages ready. I have the labels on them, I THINK I have everyone's shirt size (they seem to change daily).
Right now I am looking for any prewritten scripts that manage/maintain orders and inventory. I really do not feel like coding it myself at this point. So if anyone knows of a nifty program/script to do this, please notify me asap.
I started coding the gallery part of the Children of Acid site, but I've lost motivation.
Shirts are in route, estimated arrival date is April 17th, 2002.
Most likely tomorrow I will email everyone to make sure their order data is accurate. It's the only thing I can do to make sure all the orders are correct.

Children of Acid Shirts are orderable here
Update on the Streaming MP3 Server.. I replaced the CPU fan, in doing so, it blew the power supply.. I can't win. Server will be offline till tomorrow.
In other news of insanity.. PayPal is charging the shipping and handling fees associated with the 'shirts ordered' to donations that are have come in the past 6 hours (the time since I setup the cart).
I am on the phone with them as I type this, I got a chuckle out of the guy. So for the time being, shirt orders are being processed and donations are being declined till they can fix this... 'bug'
*Time Passes* I had to change all the code to make the donations work without charging shipping and handling. It is annoying. But it works. Where's the weed?

April 10th, 2002
Okay here is a spew of updates.
Last week I sat down and designed a postcard.. Saturday I sent it off to the printer. Monday they were finished and shipped out. They arrived yesterday. So now everyone will get some Children of Acid postcards. If you happen to want to hand them out at clubs, schools or whatever, email me (Ven @ VensNews.com) and I'll try to mail you out a stack ASAP.
Shirts are done. The should be shipped out to me today, so I am guessing Monday they will be here. I will most likely start taking 'orders' for them in a few days. Still working on the pricing and stuff. All the people who donated will now get 2 CDs, stickers, postcards and whatever else arrives. Once the shirts arrive I should be able to crank them all out in one day. I also hope to have them out and to the people by April 21st, which is the Children of Acid's 4th Birthday.
As for the store aspect. I ended up using PayPal's shopping cart system. I did this cause the people I use now charges a horrid monthly fee and also a high transaction rate.
I also did this cause I discovered, you do not need to have a PayPal account to use them, they have a button for non-PayPal customers. The only downside to them is, you must have a Javascipt enabled browser (Sorry).
One last note. The people who donated will get all that I can give (the 2 CDs and various other things). If there are extra CDs left afterwards, they will be given out on a first come first serve basis. I hope that makes sense.

Personal Email:
I have had a lot of people I know and don't know bitch at me constantly cause I don't respond to email. The sad case is there is a chance you are sending it html encoded. The amount of it has increased cause Microsoft decided they will make HTML email DEFAULT in their mail program. Well I started last night working on a script that interacts with the mail server. It is not completed yet. But in the future when someone sends an email that is html encoded, A script will parse the email and store it in a database. Then it will reply to the person who sent it with an auto response and a url like this.
http://www.nohtmlemail.com/showmessage.php?show=c01905f3bd56e1bfe4abf02b4a403905.
This will allow the user to see their original message with their nifty font tags and their alignments etc. There will also be a link to see what your email really looks like etc. I hope this will make people understand that is nothing personal against anyone, but if you send html email, it is deleted, i don't see it, the only time wasted is the time the server uses to delete it, well in this case, the time it takes to parse it and do it's thing.
Hope this clears it up.

April 7th, 2002
I have some news to update but must wait till Wednesday.
My mother is now home. They still don't know what was/is wrong with her. So she has to use some sort of monitor and take blood tests a few times a day.
The server has been slow the past 2 days. We've been doing network updates. I will be moving the server a different switch on Monday which should fix the lagness.
My streaming MP3 server is down, bad CPU fan. Sorry.

April 2nd, 2002
I redid the artwork for the shirts. Ken sucked it down (downloaded it, not a sexual act) [Though he claims he 'snorted' it.. Go Figure...] and did his magical color separation on it.
It is useable! In a few days I should receive a proof of the 'output' and stuff.
Shipping supplies finally arrived (slowest service I've seen).
GOOD NEWS! - As an added surprise (I know you weren't expecting this)....
The shirts will be GLOW IN THE DARK. The LSD Molecule as well as the phrase 'The Product of Acid in its Purest Form' will glow. Perfect for any rave *smirk* . Next up on the plate will be other merch, but must see how the demand is for the shirts.
As ANOTHER added bonus.
I have contacted some record companies/musicians/groups and requested promo items etc.. Each shipment that goes out will be packed with promo stuff (CDs, postcards, stickers etc..). I do not know how many of these promo things will arrive but I hope a lot will. I have a ton of Lords of Acid postcards and stickers going out (woo woo!).
Daniel J. Sky will be sending his newest remix CD (Remixing Non-Stop of Praga Khan), so we know there will be at least one CD in the shipments. Information about this CD can be found here.
The offer stands to any other musicians/groups/record companies. If you have something you'd like sent out, get it to me by April 14th. Contact Data
Please remember that if you donate $25 to get the shirt, shipping is included to anywhere in the world. When the shirts actually go on sale, shipping will not be included. I hope to figure out the actual cost of the shirts this week after the proof arrives. Shirt sizes available are Small to XXX-Large.
For those who are already members of Children of Acid, Please login to your account and on the left side, click 'Edit Personal Data' and at least enter your shirt size (if you haven't already). This will help me figure out what shirt sizes people wear. For those who are not members feel free to signup.
