Say what? An update? People still read this? New year, new things on the horizon. I really hope for a gazillion updates and a lots of stuff to report on. Would be a nice change of pace eh?

When a key civil servant is murdered, the Antwerp police force puts its top crime investigators on the case: Vincke and Verstuyft. The trail leads to hitman Angelo Ledda. Showing symptoms of Alzheimer's, Ledda finds it increasingly difficult to carry out assignments. When he realizes that he is being used in a political power game, he decides to bite the hand that feeds. Vincke and Verstuyft have a hard time trying to disentangle the web of intrigues to prevent further killings. Subsequently, the three men find themselves working together to eliminate Antwerp's 'underground network.'

VooDoo-U Re-reissue.. looks like it was reissued like LUST was. Cover art is the same except the logo which seems to be 'nudged' so it is very easy to see what are re-reissues.

LUST Re-reissue.. well. They will be available on friday. One thing I noticed .. On the back Ruth McArdle has vocal credits for tracks 13 and 14 (The Wet Dream and Paris France).. In my opinion I find this incorrect.. I'm sorry, not to sound like a prick, but I know Nikkie's voice.. Definitely not her on Wet Dream.. Paris France could be argued but after listening to the voice and the way the words are spoken and such, I believe it is definitely Nikkie as well. To be fair I tried the CD thinking maybe they reissued it with a redo of the 2 tracks (kind of like Deb doing Private Parts), but it is the original tunes.
Anyways. I have 30 copies in route.

Anyone notice the sampmle from 'Young Boys go to Studio 54' in the movie 'Shaun of the Dead' ? The sample being the 'Oh babbaaah (baby)' at the point where they went and picked up Liz after picking up the mother and stepfather
Looks like LUST was just reissued under 'Amant Music' catalog id 06076-88000-2

Two OH OH Four.
June 21st, Praga will start working on the new Lords of Acid album. The albums is hoped to be completed by the end of the year. Tentative estimate is March/April 2005 release.

Greatest Tits was released on 12 inch vinyl and also a CD of it was release and is considered the 'clean version'. I believe this is only the cover art (AMT-03)

Within the next few weeks, Children of Acid will start selling the Current US catalog of Lords of Acid and Praga Khan cds.
For Belgians, It may be easier to coordinate with Nigg of the Praga Khan Army and get one big order together, This way it saves on shipping, saves on time. Rather have 1 order go out with 10-15 cds than send 10-15 packages.
Lords of Acid was in Hustler October 2003, so I have ordered a stack of those. They should be in soonish.
We will carry the Gimme Gimme single mentioned previously.

Isabel has come and gone.. I think the worse part of the storm was the hype about it. I get more flooding by a rainstorm then I did by the hurricane.
Sites were done since DNS and hosting is handled here in VA. But things seems to be back online.

Well holy moly.
LordsofAcid.com has been revamped. Whee fun fun fun. Expect a few minor changes over the next few weeks.
Added a bunch of additions to the discography..
Here they are, in no specific order.
Greatest T*ts. This is the upcoming US release of the Lords of Acid Greatest Hits album.. Street date for this is September 9th, 2003. Orderable Here.
Gimme Gimme. This is the US single for the Greatest T*ts album. Street date is September 30th, 2003.
On The Racks. Oh yes, the infamous, mysterious 'On The Racks' CD.. Found in only certain stores in the US... Surfaced back in 2001, but still a hard one to find Orderable Here
Private Parts. This is an import of Lords of Acid, which is a Belgium greatest hits album, which came out last year.
Gimme Gimme. This is the import single from Private Parts.
The next 3 Updates come from Mathieu, who has been providing some unique albums from France (As seen in previous news updates). I would also like to note he is one of the contest winners, and will be meeting him tomorrow in Belgium.
I Sit On Acid. This is an old 7 inch release from France and has a very nice mix of the 'original' and the 'censored' version of the 'I Sit On Acid' from Kaos.
Take Control. This is an old 12 inch from France, which was out on Dance Pool. A 2 track record, but still a very unique one.
Do What You Wanna Do. I don't know why this wasn't in the discography.. I have it on CD (digipak) and on 12 inch, but I guess I forgot to put it in. Figures. It is a US release (not French).
I can't find the lyrics for 'Nasty Love' and 'Stoned On Love Again', So I will post them in a few days.
